When I say older I mean 10-15 years older than me...not like 50 :eek:. I feel that people around my age are less exciting, unsure of themselves, very conforming and less mature so I guess those are some of the reasons why I'm attracted to older people that are more mature, sure of themselves etc.. I always feel awkward about having crushes on older people because more often than not they're married to the opposite sex. Is anyone else experiencing this as well? Are you in a relationship with an older person? What to do if you're crushing on someone older?
Raises hand high and proud! I just realized that I am not bi, but in fact lesbian. I'm going through a tough situation though being in a straight marriage with a child. I am 33 and my wonderful husband is about to turn 55 in a couple days, but I am ALWAYS getting crushes on women in their early 50's. I just can't even imagine ending up with someone my own age, I can't tell you why though. Older women are just SO HOT to me!
My partner is 13yrs older than I am, so yes. Although my tastes tend to be rather broad (age is just one part of the total package I'm attracted to) so I'm also readily able to find guys younger than me or the same age as me attractive. I've never much worried about it TBH. Todd
The guy I was seeing briefly that I want to see more of is 10 years older than me I find guys my age usually to be dull and uninteresting, I also feel under more pressure to be a porn star ( or ridiculous vain expectations) around guys my own age. Older men are more accepting of women as humans as opposed to sjust sex, even if the relationship is just about sex, older people have that added experience and more respect for you as a person. That's what I've found anyway!
For me, the minimum would be 10 years older. That would be age 33 max. There can be some exceptions of people I like in their mid 30s but rare.

I'm attracted to older people as well which is not good in my case because the age difference is about 24 years between me and the current object of my affection (obsession). I'm so doomed because it could never work. I don't stand a chance with her and I know it. It's driving me crazy. :bang:

ME!!! I never date people my own age. Generally 10+ years older is what I date. Glad to see there are so many others like me aswell ;-)
Guilty as charged, 10yrs or even 20yrs older than me and im in my mid 20s. I don't need protection or those kinds of shit people say, I just do. They are mostly living a life different that their peers though. Most of the time, it is a relationship starting from a sharing of common activities then evolving into closer connection, regardless of the first spark being there or not. I suppose you could start with getting to know them, as any other person you met and interested in...by asking questions about them that you want to know. It is a fun journey!
YES. I'm telling you. There was this one woman about ten years older that made me so weak in the knees. I was so nervous to even be around her...in fact, this one time I was getting ready to be alone with her in a room....I felt so nauseated and anxious because I was soooo nervous about seeing her! I have been in love with a woman my age but this one......well,,,,, I pretty much died the moment I saw her!
I know right! I'm so glad that I'm not alone I'm 17 but find women in their 20 & even 30 way more attractive than girls my own age! I don't understand it and it scares me!
Me too , I dont find people my age attractive although some young ones really mature and all I still dislike them . I like people who are 10-15 years older than me . It's tricky to get one because some people thought I'm a teenager based on my look. lol.
