I just found out this evening that my best friend's mother passed away. She was 74 and had COPD. She smoked for about 40 years and quit about 2 years ago. She suffered quiet a bit. For anyone who is thinking of smoking, DON'T! It is an awful way to go. Right now I am very sad. :tears: My friend's wife is expecting twins in February and wanted to be there to see them. The wake is tomorrow and the funeral is Friday. Its weird, its the first time since I started my job I did not book any appointments on Friday. I think things happen for a reason. He is one of the first people I plan to come out to.
Ah Man how Bad just keep up good Sprits. (*hug*) I am sure friday will be sad for him keep him happy. (*hug*)
I just got back from the wake. My friend and his family were doing good. His dad was real strong. I think they feel comforted by the fact she is not suffering anymore. I only stayed for a few because there was a constant line of people and I did not want think he had to leave the line to talk to me. He said that we would talk when the craziness stopped. I told him that I was there for him because he has been there for me in the past. I also told him that I would be at the funeral tomorrow. I feel better now. Thanks for your hugs!

I just got back from my friend's mom's funeral. It was a very moving service. At the end my friend's brother and sister read a letter to their mom. It was funny and moving. After that I went the the grave site then to the home for a get together. I was able to talk to my friend and his brothers and sister. It was nice! We reminisced about the great times we had growing up. We both said that we will always be there for each other. This week even though it was sad, I had a lot of time to think and realize that life is to short.I know it is but it really hit home and I do not want to hide my true self anymore. I am so ready to come out to my friends and family. I plan to come out to my friend the next time we see each other and my family after the holidays.
