    I have parents similar to yours.
    A few years ago I shaved my head for charity but my mum was dead set against it becuase i would look butch. I think she is terrified of people finding out im gay becuase it would look bad on her or something.

    Your hair is yours, do what you want with it! If you like a certain style go for it, your parents will just have to live with it.

    Omg that's awful! Your parents sound awful. I was kinda hestiated on getting short hair as I was so used to having long hair for like my whole life. I decided to cut it when I wasn't sure on my gender identity just to test it out and also a way of me maturing and being able to be me without feeling constricted. I felt so much better and I also felt like myself. Good luck, though!
