Greetings folks, As I was making arrangements for the division of my pension fund assets, my wife wrote back with the following comment: She is not only my Ex-wife...clearly she is no longer her actual, oh-so-pleasant self!...her body must have been taken over by body-snatchers!!! :eek: Or maybe some version of the Stepford Wives :eek: :eek: (must...protect...the kids!!)
Maybe someone hacked her email account? :lol: If that really WAS her, then perhaps your overall Gandhi-esque patience and tolerance with her throughout this has finally paid off. Lord knows it hasn't been easy for you....

Hmmm...seems to me that with the settlement over and done, it no longer matters *why* she's playing nice. Simply enjoy that she's playing nice! (In fact, to truly echo Tom's cynicism, it's possible that it was the lawyer behind the previous nastiness...since my sense is that she seemed ok before you came out to her, and suddenly reverted to being nice once the settlement was over). Who knows? You might like her better (or she might be better off) as a pod person!
Update: IT WAS A SCAM! Someone hacked her e-mail!!! I got suspicious when the accounts this person were mentioning were odd, to say the least. I called the ex (was going to call her anyway before doing anything)...definitely still her :dry: and she had not received a single communication from me. I used that account for all communications with her during the divorce proceedings...fucking unbelievable! She's now contacting the phone company and possibly RCMP fraud squad. Nothing was divulged, and no information other than that a transfer of money was going to happen. The funniest most hilarious part of all this is that this pod-person has actually facilitated communication between my ex and me!!! I know things are right between us when she starts talking about her migraines...:roflmao:
Hi, My cynical side suspects this goes further. Timing is too coincidental with divorce. First place my mind goes too... Wife's lawyer or private investigator hired by wife or lawyer. But that is simply the suspicious paranoia the closet breeds into us. Rational thought simply finds coincidence like this is odd. Tom
