Honestly, a shorter pixie than what I wanted, eeeek. Making do! I’ve already been asked multiple times if I’m a lesbian in bars...so far just responding “if the occasion calls for it” or “part lesbian.” I’m MOSTLY into dudes but I’ve been exploring my sexuality a lot the past couple years. I’m learning it’s pretty fluid and that as much as guys appeal to me more in the traditional animal way, girls still offer something a little complicated and refined and nuanced that I find...interesting. I’ve gotten the lesbian comment before with my girl crush even when my hair was long/a bob, but chemistry for days there. Does it look bad?? Do I look stereotypically gay (because of course you can’t REALLY look gay) or perhaps like a smol boy?
It doesn't even really look that gay to me, I know a lot of straight girls with hairstyles like that just because they think it makes them look more professional. Also we're scientists so long hair in a lab where many things can set it on fire or get it dipped into chemicals isn't generally the greatest of ideas.
I’m completely okay with my gay side, so if it does...I don’t care! Girl crush has short hair as well so we’re generallt assumed to be together when we go out. Thanks to everyone who responded!
