I feel like that is something that just takes a little time to get used to, imo not much you can do about it :/

Why are there eggs scrambling in the street?
You could try setting up a small area like the way it was before. Sometimes a little familiarity helps a lot.

    Make a lot of mess!

    Nothing permanent of course

It seems that when people are unsettled by change, it's because they have little control/power in the situation.

Don't resist change, but don't concede to it. Compromise.

Make a lot of mess, then clean it up.

It will help you realize that you have the power to make YOUR space feel/look/smell(don't leave the mess THAT long)/taste? however you want.

    Don't hesitate!
