It was a few weeks ago, actually. But I haven't been able to log on due to school work, so... Me and my family were in (city name) for a wedding(which we ended up missing due to car trouble). I finally got to see and spend time with my older sister, alone. I'd been trying to tell her for months, but I didn't want to do so over the phone. And we hadn't been down to visit her in a while. So, I'm hanging with her and her boyfriend in this big Halloween/Christmas/whatever store, waiting for a table to open for us at the restaurant next door. Me and her wander towards the costumes as her boyfriend wanders towards the bathroom. We're looking at wigs and I tell her that I need to talk to her about something. She becomes concerned, thinking something bad. I, having planned everything in advance, flounder for words, and start rambling a little. Finally, because I have difficulty just telling someone outright, the exact words, I tell her 'I guess you could say this is me 'coming out'' Now, she reacted just how I thought she would, positively. We then looked at Halloween stuff, bought a bunch of candy, complained about Mom's bigoted witchy-ness(though it's usually spelled differently...), had some GREAT cinnamon rolls. All in all, it was a good day. (Though there was a bit of a misunderstanding there when she thought I said 'transexual'...) (And I'm not sure her boyfriend had any idea what was going on.)
People with siblings really are lucky. They seems so supportive of you. I'm proud you had the courage and it went so well
