Need suggestions on a way to achieve this... or rather tactful ways to approach this! I work with a girl I like, and I think she's gay cause she just comes across that way. But I don't know for sure... and I'm worried about embarrassing myself if she's not! Eek. So new to all of this, don't understand any of the rules/politics!
I guess it would be easier (and more natural) to approach her as a friend at first. See how this goes and then play it by ear.

Haha but seriously like creativemind said, try bringing up LGBT topics, and also as idsm said approach her as a friend, suggest meeting for drinks... and if you've got the courage, eye contact
Thanks everyone. I don't get the chance to speak to her much just a few mins here and there so it's hard to get the conversation off worky things never mind the issue of sexuality. But she seems to be different with me just lately, like I kind of noticed signals from her. But argh it's doing my head in as I'm not always very patient and just want to know!
Look out for any rainbow jewellery and such, if you get chance to chat then bring up LGBT subjects or alternatively you could come out to her which might make her follow suit and tell you she likes girls.
