How Fast is your Internet connection?

I'll be lucky if I get half a megabyte per second. Sometimes, I get dial-up speeds. I've got awful internet.

 

Insanely, wonderfully fast. On a good day, both will bet around 600-700 Mb/s

 

I wish that Apogee (Univ N. Texas dorm internet) had that fast of internet

 

And to think you all thought you had it bad

 

...and the area I live in is considered "inner city."

Bwahaha. When I use my Cell C modem it is nearly triple the speed but 5 times the money.

 

Wow. My upload sucks balls. And not in the good way.

Well I'm supposed to be getting 20Mbits down and 5 up, actual speed varies. A lot.

Seriously, some days it goes up to ~18Mbits(~2.3Mbytes/sec) down and 2 up, others I'm stuck with 0.4Mbits (50Kbytes). Don't ask about the upload spead. The speed test didn't actually register it...



Not too bad today...

 

Despite whatever mine is rated at it feels like "molasses in January" when downloading new playstation home zones.

 

Mine isn't too bad I would say average, but the last internet provider we had....screw them! They had fast internet....but not reliable. They would have an "outage" that would last for months every few months and do nothing about it.

 

^This. Virgin's pretty good most of the time, but last year our internet died for a month because they were "Upgrading network infrastructure for fibre broadband" and since it came back online it's been consistently slower than it was before they made it faster...
