I tend to be more efficient when I'm stressed, so it's when I'm /not/ a little anxios about something that I feel at a loss. xD I'm afraid I can't really help out. I do like to just lie on my bed and daydream sometimes though, in between pieces of work and such. It gives me a few moments to collect my thoughts.
ipod, strimmer and a helluva lot of weeds. I'm not saying that's how you should I'm just saying I do that and I feel better
i get so stressed out all the time. i find that something different each time works best, there is no one way for me. i found this great site that has 25 different things on it. each time i get stressed, i try the next one on the list, it's great! http://www.fourgreensteps.com/infozone/featured-zone/top-25-natural-stress-remedies-
If it's a nice day, grab your Ipod and go for a walk. Exercise works really well for lowering stress. If stress is a frequent problem for you, I'd look into trying some form of meditation. It's a surprisingly useful thing to learn, and for me at least, has been very helpful for dealing with stress.
I don't live a stressful life, I take it as it comes. See the way I look at it, Strees, anger, and being upset are all energy that could be used to do something productive or constructive. It took me a LONG time to get myself into that loop, but today, I can admit, yes, I am a very fast moving person, but never stressed, always relaxed. But video games, or anything you find good (music, drawing) are all ways to destress over all.
Music, usually. And long walks. Also, going to clubs/bars/dances helps me de-stress. Dancing/flirting and drinking a bit with friends always takes the stress right out.
Theatre! Acting and singing and dancing just lets me escape and be someone else for a while. And then once I'm done with the rehearsal/show [I ALWAYS have one going on] I eat. And eat. And eat.... (!)
Theatre is always something else for me to think about. xD granted, it's fun...but being VP of a big group doesn't leave an awful lot of, 'let's just mess around and have fun' time. I always end up being bad cop. :/
* I remember that life has continued on for everybody for the last 10,000 years or so, and most folks turn out OK. * I put the iPod on "classical", plug it into my dock, and take a hot bath in the dark. * I listen to new music while reading an old favorite book, or listen to old favorite music while reading a new book. * I figure my imagination might need some exercise. So I might try writing a story, or (yes) coming up with a bizarre but hot sexual fantasy. Lex
when i was younger and stressed out and cared enough about my writing to do it. i would sit under this tree and write from its POV. its weird i know but it reminded me that life goes on. stress wont always be there.
Depends on where I am: -in my room I clean, it helps feng shui the room for me, and make me less agitated -if at home, I visit an animal. Horse, cat, dog, whatever I'm not allergic to -play the piano -get a nice cup of coffee -walk, anywhere and everywhere -listen to music that I know every word to and enjoy singing along with it!
De-stress remedy? 1. A large cup of chamomile or Japanese Green Tea 2. A long very hot or very cold shower (your body gets use to the temperature after a couple minutes) 3. Sleep for as long as I can.
Punch someone........ Ok, stupid joke. lol I listen to my favorite songs, cry a bit, then hang out with someone that I love and I know that will make me smile.
