It's a reference to a Black Sabbath song title. Why this song? Apart from being one of my all-time favorites, I was searching for a gender-neutral username (can't think of a time when I've ever referred to myself as dude, boy, man, guy, etc), and the answer couldn't have been more obvious!

Sinopáá is my Native American name. It means "Little Fox" in Blackfeet, which is an offshoot of the Lakota language. My Grandfather gave the name to me along with my naming feather when I was very little. Typically when you grow up you take an adult name, but I chose not to. Since he has passed on it holds a rather special meaning to me now. Niistó Ikooki'taki kiistó Sska'aaáhs (I miss you greatly grandfather). :frowning2:

Welp, I love TNG and Data is my FAVORITE character. He's pure logic and very efficient. He doesn't get offended, and he doesn't need apology. He does his job to the letter of protocol. He's physically superior to humans and doesn't require any food, drink, or sleep.

Despite all that though, his CRAVING for humanity is fascinating. I view Data as FAR superior to Lore because he doesn't HAVE hardly any humanity, yet he craves to feel emotions and think in a human way just like Lore.

Also, I like that he keeps a pet cat (Spot). I live kittehs.

"Velvet" symbolizes the softness (gentleness) in my personality, and "Blade" symbolizes my past self-harming habits :icon_wink

Well, I actually do sing in the church choir, so "Choirboy" is literally true. And everyone seems to have this image of me as a wholesome, innocent choirboy type of guy (that, or else the nice but flakey older brother to the world). But it's also a bit of dark humor, because there's a side of me that has never really seen the light of day yet, which is about as far from a pure little choirboy as you are likely to get, and I'd really like him to have his chance one day!

A few years ago I worked for a company who had an office in WA, I used to live the other side of the country until a few months ago, and the branch office receptionist had used the phrase Cool Bananas when things were right or had things completed, so I thought it was a good phrase.

I did use it as a user name on another forum for a few months until the website changed direction, and basically changed its format, then completely shut down the message board.

I have since moved to WA and now work for a new company and the 2nd day on the job one of the accounts staff used the phrase Cool Bananas, i hadn't heard it in ages, its almost a regional phrase type thing.

I joined this website then moved so it wasn't a move then choose a new name.
