    He is benefiting from having good linemates. The same thing happened in Vancouver, he had good line mates/PP time and started putting up points. Hes a good player, but not good enough yet to carry a line.

    Hodgson is definitely benefiting from his linemates, but he also has made some really good decisions with the puck offensively. He's played really well.

    I haven't seen any Buffalo games, but I know what you mean. He used to make some really good decisions, but was a defensive liability. With a year of seasoning he and good linemates I understand why he would be putting up points.

    If Kipper is out long term, they will have to ship Iginla at the deadline and will be looking at a high pick. Mackinnon/Jones/Drouin is a really solid top 3 picks, all three would be a good addition for them. Although, with Feaster at the helm they may trade that top pick for a song and dance.

    The Flames should have traded Iginla about two years ago. They'd get a nice package for him now, but the return would have been even better had they traded him earlier. Aside from him and Kiprusoff, they really don't have any attractive assets and are virtually bare in terms of prospects.

    They have some really bad contracts, too. Cammalleri and Bouwmeester at over $5 million apiece? Ouch.

    If the Flames had shipped Iginla and Kiprusoff two years ago they would be ~2-3 years away from competing for the cup right now. Instead they are a minimum of 5 away from being a contender (I cant complain that much being a Canucks fan). Bouwmeester is a good defencemen but his contract is just so bad.

    From the clip I seen of it It was hard to determine if he did or not. I wouldn't be surprised it has happened before, its funny how some players react in the scrums.
