    Oooh, another classical pianist. I've been playing since I was eight, although my parents have my grand piano right now, so I haven't been able to play unless I go to their house on the weekends. Anyway... welcome to EC!

    Wow! Good for you! You've been 'out' to people just about as long as I have - only you did it 19 years earlier! That's awesome! Having a great bf certainly helps feel good about the process - that's what I've come to learn the last few months!

    yeah definitely my boyfriend made the whole coming out process a lot easier. he has been out to everyone since 8th grade/freshman year so he was way past that whole obstacle by the time I met him, and so he was able to help me overcome it as well. my coming out was really rather painless looking back

    Yeah, I'm probably late as well, but I haven't been on in a little while.

    Welcome to EC! I have to say, you're really lucky to have a bf, already. Congrats on that, and getting through the whole coming out process.

    I guess I am way late. Only recently came out to my therapist. So far she is the only person I have told. It is great to read about others who have had a really positive experience.
