    Hope I'm not out of place. But I know a lot of you on here think as Becky as a second mom...or something of the sorts. So I thought I would post this so we can all say Happy Mothers day to her in one thread.

    So Becky even though I don't know you.

    I hope you have a wonderful happy Mothers day and I hope you get spoiled!

    Ahaha you're all going to call me pedantic for this but i just finished a 50 minute lecture on the spelling of Mothers Day. There is no ' in Mother(')s Day. Yeah my English teacher has OCD... he takes a pen around and fixes any sign he sees.

    Anyway.

    Happy Mothers day to ALL the EC mums out there!

    Just out of interest, why wouldn't there be an apostrophe? I would have thought that "Mother's" would be possessive, as it is their day.

    I know little about punctuation and vocabulary but, perhaps its Mothers' day? I think it should have an apostrophe

    I completely panicked when I saw this post! The UK celebrate Mothers' Day back in March, before Easter, but as everyone else celebrates it this Sunday, I'll join them in wishing Becky and Louise and all the EC mums out there a Happy Mothers' day

    LoL WELL according to my professor:

    Mother's Day: Sigular Possesive reference stating that the directed mother is the sole owner.

    Mothers' Day: Collective Possesion, refering to the collected ownership and custody of.

    Mothers Day: Collective direct reference to relevance of or related topic.
