Happy 2023.....I'm still gay....and I love all of you

    I don't celebrate New Years. I went to bed at 10pm last night.
    I don't make new years resolutions. They provide undue pressure to ones life. But I woke up today with a new feeling of empowerment.
    For those who have come out at all, you know that you don't just come out once, it is a long process. It gets tiring and can bring on bouts of depression, at least for me.
    But today I just feel more energy and inner strength to face those who will shun me for being me.

    I pray for each of you to have a FANTASTIC new year. Keep the faith and the strength to live as God made you. Know that you are loved and always have a safe space here.

    I also don't make new years resolutions. I "celebrated" by ringing in the new year with a can of Dr. pepper and pizza rolls and I made a drawing. That's really about it. My only resolution is to try to be kinder and more confident in myself during this year in 2023. Hope you're having a good year so far.
