    Is no-one going to talk about their distinguishing between 'Gateway Bands' and ones that can seriously convert your child? Just imagining David Bowie, Radiohead and Elton John laughing maniacally while comparing 'salicious melodies' and 'grooves' and analyzing whether their lyrics are fuel for gay conversion is goddamn hilarious.

    And I think they missed Avril Lavigne because I was a GREAT fan growing up. It all makes sense now! xD

    I used to love listening Avril Lavigne! Especially "What the Hell?", "Sk8er Boi" and my favourite "Girlfriend". "Hello Kitty" was terrible though. But yeah, I digress from the actual thread. Sorry that "I had to go and make things so complicated". :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: What? I couldn't help it! :grin:

    i cannot believe pet shop boys are not on that list. that's the biggest omission.

    and justus kohncke??? did someone go to the dark side of the berlin techno scene to get that one? if so, they left out a zillion other artists.
