I'm completely cis but about 80% of my champion pool in League is female. Is this a problem orrr.

Primarily preferred male characters but sometimes played both.

    This.
same for me. Male to male romancing in game is a big plus for me and only fun if I play a male character myself of course.

Depends on what I'm playing. If I play splatoon I play male (mainly because the... Things hanging from the female is gross) but if I'm playing something like monster hunter mixed sets look better on females.

If there's character creation options then I will go for a female character but most of the games I play give you one character with a set backstory and personality that can't be changed.

If I feel like RPing in an RP game then I will go any which way I just find it boreing playing as the same gender all the time

I feel more like a male, but always play as a female.
Partially, because, back when i was younger i would always just go with what i was told i was (female) so i'd already ended up with a bunch of female characters and, also, i hate inconsistency through my accounts and such, so it would slowly eat me from the inside if i had all these female characters from years ago but then, suddenly, had a male character that was completely out of place with all my others... and, also, because girls are hot.
I don't tend to connect with a playable characters as if it's and in-game me, so why would i bother to have to constantly stare at a boring guy the whole play-through when i could stare at the backside of a cute girl in probably revealing (if it's an anime MMO...) armor or something, y'know?

gender plays absolutely no role in whichever gender I choose to play as. I just pick whatever looks the coolest/has the best stats

I don't play video games, but I do enjoy a good word-based, paragraph style RP, and do so a good deal as a furry. I tend to like the unlimited freedom of being to create by whole character more or less 100% how I want, and not have any part of it be ready-made.

As such, I've always played as a male, playing male characters...the age may range a good deal, from 12 to 40, but so far, as a cis-male, playing a cis-male.

If it's a game with multiple save slots like Skyrim or something I'll play as either gender, but usually I play as a male character.

I'm non-binary and it's a mix really. In RPGs when given the choice I'll often make female characters, in fighting games I'd play male characters more often (the fast ones, like Hwoarang in Tekken.)

I play The Sims and that's a mix too. I often make characters that are nothing like me tbh though as well because it's interesting.

    I distaste playing males.

    I love playing female characters.
I find it one of my only comforts as I can't stand my body.

I usually create a character that conforms to what I wish to be.
