I see some good ones are already listed here!

    I'm going to go with:

    Little Miss Sunshine
    American Pie
This Is The End (so stupid it's funny)

and... I'm sure I'll think of more later.

    National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

And an amazing comedy I saw for the first time this past weekend: Happy Gilmore!

Happy Gilmore and Xmas Vacation are amazing.

Clark Griswold ' s rant was epic and the septic tank scene with cousin Eddie was awesome.

The Heat is hilarious! I loved the chemistry between Mullins and Ashburn. The script was very funny especially Mullins'. If you're in need of a good laugh watch The Heat - seriously fun comedy for everybody!

Here are my suggestions, with a gay twist (of course):

Queer Duck: An animated comedy about an insecure gay duck who falls victim to a conversion therapist. Constant jokes about pop culture along the way, delivering as many laughs as "Airplane!"

You Should Meet My Son!: A conservative Southern woman is determined to get her son married to a nice girl ... until one of the ladies 'outs' him at dinner! She then sets out on a hilarious journey to get her son married off ... to a man this time.

In & Out: Kevin Kline plays Howard Brackett, an English teacher who gets 'outed' on prime-time TV. Lots of funny stuff about the movie business, coming out, and the rigid expectations placed on men.

The Kids in the Hall - Brain Candy: The comedy troupe appears in this story of funny unintended consequences, when people get hooked on a "happy pill."

The absolutely funniest movies I've seen have nothing to do with sex and sexuality, but I enjoyed this movie. It handles the subject manner in a lighthearted way, yet leaves the viewer wondering about a lot of things. How could Kevin Kline not know? Or did he? How could his fiancee not know? What was that evident about his presentation that caused Matt Dillon to take that leap - the bow tie, the interest in literature? How was it going to play out in a small town after the fact, and teaching in a small town school? Maybe it was meant to be taken at face value, and not really analyzed.

    Another vote for Rat Race.
Also love Super Troopers it's dumb but funny as hell.
And finally Liar Liar ("I've had better" gets me every time)
