Woke up this morning to discover my first crush has died - Les McKeown of the Bay City Rollers, a mid 70s phenomenon. I was (too?) young for a crush or any understanding of whatever (if anything) it might be but I wanted to be one of those screaming girls in his crowd - despite being a boy. [My next crush was Kenny Rogers!] (I did a thread search and similarly themed threads were many years ago - so hope this is ok given the topical element as well.)
