    It was very heartbreaking for me as well. I’ve wanted to go as a kid and it honestly did make me tear up. Thinking about how I will never see it how it was before really got me down.

    Here and other places, people have mentioned that they see some waste in giving money to Notre Dame because there are more unfortunate people out there. This is so true. People have asked, 'What about all the other works of art and major buildings destroyed by unfortunate accidents and natural disasters?' One thought is that they usually only work on the ones that are of major significance. When smaller towns lose their city halls and libraries to calamities, they usually build new and different ones to replace the old ones once they get the money together. They even do this in some bigger cities. As for Notre Dame, it appears that they have put together enough money to rebuild.
