That long-expected bonanza was waiting for me on my doorstep when I got home--two dresses, three pair of sandals and a couple underthings. (!) Since my tendency is to translate my excitement into big, unreadable walls of text , I'll try to keep this a short, concise itemized list: The Good - Dresses are beautiful. Underthings, purchased for function vs. seductive-quality, do exactly what they were hoped to do. The Bad - Dresses are a bit too large. Apparently H&M's 10 is a 12 elsewhere. :dry: So exchanges in my near future. Also, went a little too far with a pair of sandals sporting rhinestones. :roflmao: I may return these for something a little more subdued. (Then again, might get away with these strutting them in Times Square this August.) The Fabulous - My other two, strappy sandals are preciously gorgeous (or gorgeously precious, either one, lol). I have one pair--my white--still on my feet from the earlier try-on and I know they're not coming off till I shut my eyes, lol! Strutting with them, as well as the black pair (delish!), I now experience the advantage of my months training in my 5-inchers. At a little over four inches (counting the slight platform), these things are easy as pie to walk in! Gonna break them in for a few days and wear the white pair to group therapy next week. P.S.: Oh, did I mention a certain red belt came in the mail the other day? Now awaiting only red heels to complete the "outfit proper" (handbag I still haven't ordered). (!) (!) (!)
