Feeling nervous around LGBT people

Yes! I get this all the time. While my straight friends are totally comfortable around gay men I'm having mini panic attacks. I was so relieved when the 2 gay guys at my work left! I even get that nervious feeling in my stomach when i think about coming on this website... ugh.

Same as you, partly I'd love to talk to them. I always worry that they'll look down on me for not being attaractive enough, or out enough, or because I don't spend all my time telling everyone about LGBT rights, or because I've never been to pride. I don't think I'm scared that they'd out me, cuase I'd love an excuse to be outed (less effort on my part haha)!
