I forgot to mention Whitechapel - I guess it was my first criminal series that caught my attention.

I've really started getting into The Borgias as of late. Amazing production value, masterclass performances, and a host of some of the most engrossing characters I've ever seen on tv.

I've just discovered Brooklyn Nine Nine. It's pretty funny, a parody on cop shows. Although there's a lot of simple humor; there are also many jokes with a serious undertone, which I really like.

For instance, there is a cop that is on desk duty ever since a shooting went wrong and it hints at PTSD and problems with that. It is also about the difficulties of dating with such a demanding job, a gay officer who has fought (still has to) prejudice, a deliquent teenage son of a superior officer causing problems, etc. themes like that. I really like how they balance these serious topics with the humor.

Also watching old Dexter seasons: Only saw 6-8, so have some catching up to do

BTW: does the term fruit flies bother anyone? Is it politically incorrect? Because at this point i dont know how else to refer to female frinds that you grew up with that encourage gay etc...

Ive known lots of people like this... they have always been my best friends... I dont know how else to refer...

I have alot of this in my blood by now... I used to just call them girls.. LOL
