The Lion King (the first one) because it is such a touching story that every child should see. + amazing songs and A Goofy Movie - I love the songs and of course the plot
That´s actually one of my favourite parts too!! (it might even be my second favourite ) that reprise is amazing!! and I completley agree with you on it being an allegory of being gay
The nightmare before Christmas! Hands down. (It is a Disney movie, right?) Favourite scene: the "This is Halloween" song. It's actually one of the few movies I can stand watching more than once.
Mine is Alice in Wonderland<3 just because its not all about finding love and whatnot......also because I'm a bit offbeat and like things most people consider "creepy".... The other is Mulan just because that was always my favorite growing up due to the message it sent about women can do anything men can do (and because of my interest in other cultures)
Me, well I loved Treasure Planet. My favourite scene well is this.
IMHO, Beauty and the Beast is the best of the Disney 2D animated movies, and nothing beats the scene where they dance in the ballroom while Mrs. Potts sings "Tale as Old as Time."
Alice in Wonderland because it reminds me of my own life in a twisted way. My favourite scene is the caterpillar smoking a hookah
Mulan. By far. Still my alltime favorite movie. Definitely the scene during I'll Make a Man Out of You where she climbs the pole.
I can't decide between the scene in Toy Story when Buzz and Woody are in the sky toghteher "falling with style", and the scene in Mulan with that "I'll make a man out of you" song...
This is, without a doubt, in a good position to be my favorite Disney movie. Bowser and Eggman in a support group for video game villains will also be my favorite scene ever... ...oh, you mean now? Tough call. The "I'm Still Here" montage from Treasure Planet is a contender. Ditto to the solar surfing part.
Damn, I'm not even lying. I'm giggling like a little schoolgirl and bouncing off the walls to see this movie now. November can't come fast enough! EDIT: And if some of you guys need convincing, all I can say is "Jane Lynch as an FPS NPC"
^^ agree! My second fave though has to be Mulan and the scene when she comes home at the end. I love the grandmother.
