    Coming from Oklahoma, I will say a big thunderstorm with lots of heavy rain and rumbles that shake the entire roof. Seeing the sky turn a lurid yellow green, the smell of ozone from lightning! That was one thing I missed living in a drier state like Utah or California.

    I love the cold snowy weather. When it comes to the cold I can control my temperature by the amount of layers I wear. When Its hot, sticky and humid out there is only so many layers I can shed before it becomes indecent exposure.

    Winter, as cold as possible, i want to see the streets dead, no one outside, no movement, everything frozen in place, at a standstill... No cars, no animals, no people, no nothing.

    I feel your pain. I had never seen snow until this year when our year level took a 10 hr+ car/plane/bus trip to The Snow. When we first saw it everone went hysterical and clambered around the bus windows with their phones to take photos. One girl begged the bus driver to stop so she could touch the snow. The bus driver replied that she would have all week to "stop and touch the snow." None of us had ever seen it before.

    My favourite weather (apart from snow) are summer storms.

    20 degrees Celsius (or 68 degrees Fahrenheit), not windy and not cloudy. May also be in the range of 15 ~ 25 (59 ~ 77). No rain as well, just nothing but sunshine. :icon_bigg

    A convectively unstable summer atmosphere with lots of wind shear and an approaching cold front is just what the meteorologist ordered. Hot and humid to start the day, followed by intense thunderstorms with a drastic drop in temp and dew point.
