Olivia Armstrong (Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood):
She's tough, smart, and the respect she has for her soldiers makes her a very admirable character. Also, I'd be crushing on her hard if I wasn't taken already. *secret swoon*

Terezi (Homestuck)
Well-written, a joy to watch, kicks ass, someone who isn't naive or easily manipulated, and undergoes a great deal of character development.

Lucca (Chrono Trigger)
A woman of science! She was always on my team, and her interaction with all the other characters (particularly Robo) was such a joy.

Marceline (Adventure Time)
~She's not mean, she's a thousand years-old, and she's just lost track of her moral code~. She's just a badass.

Toph (Avatar: The Last Airbender)
I don't need to explain how awesome she is, chances are, you already know.

Sayaka (Madoka Magica)
One of those fictional characters I feel like I most relate to in a lot of ways.

My all-time favorite female character has always been Sarabi from The Lion King. She's just regal.

In the beginning of the movie, her character is extremely under-developed. The only thing we know about her is that she is nurturing, as she holds Simba, nuzzling her husband at their greeting.



She's also values cleanliness, and tries her best to keep Simba as clean as possible, even if she is a bit rough.



She's definitely a no nonsense king of cat, especially in the mornings, when Mufasa tries to use the old, "Before sunrise, he's your son." She's not having any of that, and she goes back to sleep.


After the death of her lover, and the destruction of her kingdom, Sarabi doesn't sulk in her loss and she doesn't grow weak. She maintains her strength, pride, and keeps her head up, even when she's walking through a hallway composed of hyenas.



When she is summoned to Scar, she has no problem telling him that he's the reason the Pride Lands have gone to waste, and that he generally sucks as King.


"You done fucked up, Scar. You suck."

And WHEN she finds out that Scar is the one responsible for the death of her love in the first place, she's first in line to kick his butt. She may be Queen, but she's not too royal to get down and dirty with the rest of them. And just look at that face! That'll strike fear into the hearts of anyone!
