I find myself listening to albums, rather than putting together playlists or just hitting shuffle, more and more often these days. It's easier, and I'm less likely to hit skip (or at least, I know when The Crunge is coming up and can be ready). Some tried and true listen-all-the-way-through favorites:

    Led Zeppelin - IV
The Rolling Stones - Beggars Banquet
The Dirtbombs - Ooey Gooey Chewy Ka-blooey
    Donovan - Sunshine Superman
The Kinks - The Village Green Preservation Society
Lou Reed - Coney Island Baby
The Pretty Things - SF Sorrow
    T. Rex - Electric Warrior
The Velvet Underground - the first three, honestly, I was trying to be fair and just stick with one per band, but I can't, I just can't here
The Zombies - Odessey and Oracle

What a list. Just take me out with the garbage already. I listen to a lot more than that (and I do actively seek out new bands, I swear, but yeah, I find out about a fair number of them from Shindig!'s new albums section) but yeah, those are honestly my most listened to albums lately.

98% of the time I only listen to full albums. I mean, artists and bands don't make an album because they want you to listen to just one or two songs (unless they're attention whores just in it for the money). They have put a lot of thought and effort into their albums and the way the songs are ordered, to create the best experience.

Also the reason I hate listening to an album on shuffle. It's just something you don't do.

Making a list of albums I listen to straight through would be way too long.

Edit: sometimes it's so bad that, when I hear a certain song on a night out for example, I already have the intro of the next song of that album in my mind and know exactly how to sing or play it.

I usually listen to albums all the way through as well. The only times I wont is, unfortunately the majority of the time I can listen to music, on the way to school or at school. There I satisfy all the genres I like by listening to single songs.

When I paint, I always listen to full albums. I let the feel and meaning of the album envelop me and I just paint through album in a way.

YES! Love that album so much.

    I'll gladly add -

The Upsides - The Wonder Years
    Suburbia - The Wonder Years
The Greatest Generation - The Wonder Years
No Closer To Heaven - The Wonder Years

Some days at work I like to listen to all four in order. (!)

Wintersun - Wintersun (the album is a story in my head, and it doesn't feel right not to experience the whole story each time)
Beyond the Red Mirror - Blind Guardian (There is an actual story here)

Oh, and Temple of the Dog's self titled album. I don't know how I could forget that one.

I don't listen anything straight through. I don't do anything straight. But anyway, I really like 1989 by Taylor Swift.
