"Sir Karnik is knighted. Never did say by who, but this villa's the whole guild grounds." Lewis said.

 

[Not really, no. Those will develop later. The most could be another guild warning Sir Karnik to close up shop.]

 

They headed around to the front of the villa. One odd feature of the grounds of the villa was the small ditch following the walls, just a few centimetres closer than the walls themselves. They looked new, but what was the point?

 

[Alright. Well, just don't plan on fighting in the grounds. Karnik's power is... well, linked to that ditch. Sir Karnik's... 'kingdom' if you will.]

The pair made their way to the gate of the villa itself, passing through to find a courtyard outfitted for training. There was a circular ditch in the courtyard similar to the one near the wall, and a woman looking to be in her mid-30's was training within. She was using, of all things, a metal staff 6 feet in length with surprising ease. She seemed over half a foot taller than it's length, too. She had black hair cut to about jaw height and wore chainmail armour.

"Time to meet Sir Karnik."

 

"You're looking at her." The pair stated, grinning. Sir Karnik turned around, looking at them. "New recruit?" She called out, sounding very masculine, and leant on her staff.

 

[She can't hear him from there. They'll need to approach her first.]

 

The twins were beside him, waving to Sir Karnik in greeting. "Zeva Karnik. So you're looking to join?"

"What experience do you have?"
