It's kinda sad how Austria had 0 points in the end.. Sometimes I forget this song contest is not about music.

I was hoping the UK would get 0 points but Ireland and Malta gave us some. :***:

To be fair they did pretty much rip off Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeroes:
-From the white suit (see here)
-to the long hair, beard and love of vintage hats
    -To the piano
    -To the vocal sound

The whole song just reminded me of a more mellow 40 Day Dream, even the choruses have similar wails!:

    Still an enjoyable performance though!

I like that style. But most of pop songs are ripped off anyway, I swear I heard the same tune twice this year in the finals.

Oh it was awful. But funnily enough not the worst song we've ever sent out (warning, please put on appropriate ear protection before pressing play):

    Truly sorry Europe! :icon_sad:

Now THAT truly deserved nul points! Well actually, probably -1000 points.

True, but I think the whole fashion and production of it were too similar too.

Maybe if he'd at least dressed a bit more uniquely to him it might have been a bit less obvious.

Why does everyone hate that UK electro swing song? I thought it was one of the better ones, I love that 40s vibe.

I'm not particularly happy with the outcome, especially knowing that Italy would've been first if we don't take the judges' votes into account. Russia would've been second and Sweden would've been third.

I don't like Sweden's song much and it felt very unoriginal, sounds like the avarage club song (which happens to be something I don't like, so there's some bias here obviously).

I preferred so many songs to Sweden, such as Estonia, Italy, Latvia, Norway and also Russia.. That Sweden has won is a disappointment to me. There were much better songs in my opinion.. =\

Ooh I didn't hate it actually. It didn't stand out too much in my opinion, but it was funny and interesting.

I actually didn't hate it. Kind of a niche taste, though.

Hey there  I love Eurovision but I feel like this year wasn't really that enjoyable. Too many ballads made me sleepy. I actually liked Latvia, Estonia, Georgia, Russia, Lithuania, Sweden and Slovenia but I have no idea why Italy was in the top three. In my opinion Latvia should have won, that song was really good. I'm a bit sad about Poland's entry this year, Monika is great but the song was dull.

I hope next year it will be more fun. I want somebody like Cezar to make an appearance, at least it would be interesting

Kinda late to reply here but anyway! Songs from Israel and Sweden made it to my summer playlist, fun to listen to! I wasn't surprised that Sweden won though, they're the best at whatever they do! Song itself was kinda copy of these Avicii/David Guetta etc. songs so no wonder! Heroes of the night or lovers at the sun whatever :--D
