As I have grown older, I never worried about my sexual functioning. Then about 7 years ago I was diagnosed with Type II diabetes and atrial fibrillation. Everything is stable but that is with the help of several medications. I have spoken to my doctor about this and she tried me on testosterone gel (impacted my sleep badly so I stopped). I am not sure it made a difference anyways. My partner and I are no longer sexual but I still have sexual interest and we have decided to be open. However that doesn't address the problem. I have used viagra and it worked but my medications now might be interfering with its effectiveness. It might be that I am psyching myself out thinking about this and actually creating a bigger problem. Any thoughts?
Talk with your doctor they are there to help you. Also thinking about something to much can have a negitive effect on what you want to do .
Definitely this. I have occasional issues with ED and when it happens, stressing over it and trying to force myself to get hard always fails. Generally I just try to chill out a bit, take things slower and it usually resolves itself as soon as I begin to relax.
