I can't believe that many people actually tried to ban others. :/
I knew it was an April Fools joke so I didn't bother. xD

 

I knew from the moment I saw it that it was an april fools day prank, but in order to find how the prank worked, I told it to ban myself. I did not try to ban anyone else!


EDIT I had not heard of the wall-Ceiling ordeal till now very strange idea though

 

Thats the exact same thing i did, except i put a different random name in

 

I wanted to know what would happen when I clicked it, but I didn't know who to ban, so I just put my own username in. And I did get banned. So it worked

Haha such great pranks...I was suspicious about the ban thing right from the beginning, but eh, I'm dumb so I did it under helen's encouragement. I should've known she was exactly the sort of person to laugh at something like that. (Helen I'm going to get my revenge one day I swear)

 

You mean like a forum I used to visit that for April Fools made EVERYONE a Moderator for the day?

I knew the ban thing seemed too good to be true... so I didn't touch it, cause I didn't want to know what would happen (eg: public humiliation)

Also most England users probably didn't notice the "Big brother is watching" banner because they are so used to giving up their privacy.

After seeing Gizmodo being a mess, and here being a mess, I basically stopped using the internet yesterday.

 

i tried to ban TY old user but i got banned i Laugh out Loud 1st then i tried to go post about and come to found out i was banned for 30min got mad cause i couldn't post lol and i never came back for the rest of the day. but i did like the EC ceiling i saw earlier and i didn't see the banner or the text tho

1) Tom was banned twice
2) I tried to ban myself...and it worked
3) very funny...but I barely got to explore the forum with distorted fonts...and I didn't see the logo

 

Well, I figured with my luck, if I put someone's name, that would happen, so I left it blank...But I still got banninated.

 

Lol I joined on April Fools Day and became rather confused and dissorientated and ended up banning myself as I didn't see I needed to scroll down......
