I knew it form the moment they said her name

River is Melody! I knew it! I take it that means that the little girl is Melody/River, since she has the power to regenerate and everything. And we always thought that River killled the doctor, but then the space suit (presumably with the girl inside) did it, so we started wondering who she was again.

And the doctor is dating the daughter of his ex-girlfriend. That is so friggin weird. "But we... *kissing noise*"

Oh, and the timelords only because timelords because of the time vortex? Wow, I never knew that...

And a question... if Melody/River is part timelord and can regenerate, which does she age? And why is she in prison for killing the doctor if there was an army created to kill him and she was supposed to be the great weapon.

We have to wait till the AUTUMN??????? Noooooooooo!!!!!!!

The last episode was completely bad-ass at the beginning. It was the coolest Doctor Who Episode yet!

I also liked the bit at the beginning where the Cyber men pissed their pants "WHERE IS MY WIFE."

 

I just realised another awesome thing about Doctor Who!
It gets LGBT stuff just right.
It throws the occasional LGBT person in there, but doesn't go over the top
Doesn't make every LGBT person epically stereotypical
And it doesn't make LGBT characters have their LGBT trait as the only interesting thing that happens to them, it just makes it in passing references

So basically, Doctor Who represents LGBT people as we are in real life...win, it's possibly the first show to ever do this

 

Whos been LGBT in Doctor Who?

 

In that last episode alone there were that gay marine couple; and it's been strongly suggested that Madame Vastra (the Victorian Silurian. With the swords) and her maid Jenny are in a relationship.

 

Also there was the dude in the Unicorn and the Wasp
And of course Captain Jack
Aaand Sky Silvestry in Midnight

 

Canton was gay, wasn't he? IIRC he was fired for wanting an interracial gay marriage.

I miss the show so so so so much. Doctor Who withdraw is worse than Glee... and that is saying something. Thank God for Netflix.

 

I tried to look up Doctor Who on BBCiplayer the other day and, when the search returned with nothing, I remembered that it had been stopped for a few months. Suddenly I had nothing to do So, I watched Gavin and Stacey instead. What a sad life I do lead :lol:

 

I love watching Dr who ~ old ones too the second doctor PT is my favorite...Him and his companion Jamie are practically Cannon

 

I suddenly feel very old...

I remember watching early Dr. Who episodes when I was a kid.

Oh yeah - still a (huge) fan now.

 

I just watched the last episode (S06E07)! What am I meant to do with my life now?! I could watch Gavin and Stacey like Corporal Sparks. I've only seen the first season, but somehow I can't believe it's going to make up for not having Doctor Who to watch. I'm trying to get hold of last years season and its confidentials.

But hey, hmm? When was Amy Doctor's girlfriend as RubiksCube suggests?

The last episode totally blew my mind. It combined all the great aspects of Doctor Who into one episode!!
It's going to kill me to have to wait for August to come....

 

I just got a box in the mail! Doctor Who series 1-4! I let myself order it on Amazon because I got good grades this term. NOW I have something to do over the summer!
