Oh, damn, sorry, i voted "no" (can someone fix this? :frowning2: ), but i think there is nothing wrong with it.

She is a doctor after all, like alwaysshope11 said, it's her job.

Look.. she has seen more than one of them during her life.
If you see yourself as simply a client the situation should be completely ok.

On the same note, there are many women going to a male doctor.

Err, as long as there's a medical reason for it, then yes of course.

If you are having her look at it for a medical reason. Yes, it's acceptable because she is YOUR doctor. And you have a medical problem.

If you are just wanting to show her your penis, then no.

Well, if it's not sexual, then it's probably medical.

Why not? Asking somebody "hey can you check out my junk?" without giving her something to look for would be extremely awkward.

She is a doctor, so I'm sure that she has seen a lot of guy's junk. If you don't feel comfortable with a female doctor looking at it, a lot of practices have male and female doctors and are willing to have the male doctor look at it for you. So, that may be worth asking about if you feel more comfortable with that.

I work in medical and I help with washing people, toileting people including wiping, and dressing people. Both sexes. Trust me, looking at body parts all day long, day after day, it's really nothing more involved than if you were looking at a nose, or an eye. In fact, sometimes us medical peeps get so used to looking at body parts that we forget that others can be shy about it and even ashamed about showing their parts to us. So, truly, it's actually not a second thought to us.

I'll echo the previous comment. Medical professionals don't bat an eyelash at looking at any body parts. They're basically desensitized and it won't be even slightly bothersome to your doctor.

It's her job. If you have a concern, tell her. She's probably had to do many things you might think were weird.

I think enough people have said that it's a non-issue for a female doctor to examine your junk. I don't think it matters if you, a guy, requests a female doctor over a male doctor either (if you feel more comfortable having a female doctor examine you). They're doctors, your floppy penis isn't gonna faze them .

Yes, it's absolutely okay to ask a female Dr. to look at your penis, especially if you have a health concern down there. I'm assuming this is your main primary care Dr. I take it you are asking if it's okay, because you feel rather awkward/embarrassed to ask her. It's completely normal to feel that way. I have a male Dr. and I don't really like having him check me down there much either, but during my yearly physical he always does, as it's a part of the physical. It only takes a minute, then I can zip back up, and it's over with. Should work out the same for you, and shouldn't take long. As others said, Dr's check the genitals of patients several times a day, so it's really no big deal to them. I've never had a female Dr for that. So, I understand your concern, but all the same they are a Dr. and are there for your health concerns. Dr's of both genders see and examine patients of either gender, it's just a job to them, no worries. I encourage you to ask her, so that you no longer have to feel uneasy about the medical concern you have.
