Do you swear?

I swear like a sailor, irl.

 

I swear a lot around my friends and coworkers.
I don't swear a lot around new people.
I don't swear when it isn't necessary.
I try not to swear around my parents.

It's pretty situational with me. I swear a lot at work and at school because there are more situations that it's appropriate in, but when I talk with my family there aren't typically the right situations for it, so I don't.

I try to be respectful of the folks around me.

 

All the time. I don't really know why I do it, it's just something I do. It helps me blow off steam or get my point across at times.

But everyone seems to think I do it simply because I like it, which is completely ridiculous and stupid. It's not that I like it, it's just how I talk.

 

Like a goddamn sailor.

I only use bitch, hell, and damn. I hate the really bad words! I think people who swear a lot seem unintelligible. It's one of my pet peeves.

 

Around friends, like a sailor. Around family, not at all.

 

Haha, I'm a sailor and I swear like one too. I don't use slurs at all though.

Contrary to the friends I had back in elementary school, I generally keep a civil tongue. If I do need to swear, I tend to either say it in a foreign language (Japanese especially) so people are less likely to get offended, or (more likely) I'll just say random nonsense (particularly "noodles!")

If I swear, it's usually either as part of a joke or I'm quoting someone. That said, I do swear sometimes, just not very much.

 

Depends on the context for me really! When I'm at work and surrounded by builders, all I hear is "F*ck this.... F*ck that", It's not the most pleasant haha! However, I do tend to swear occasionally around friends, which I'm not proud of!

I swear like a sailor in my head! But on the outside I say stuff like "Fudge...fuff...ect."
If I'm angry I mutter swear words under my breath but I never say them loud enough for anyone to hear.

 

I swear depending on the person around. For example some friends who don't really swear ever, I'll never swear around them (extent is bitch and bastard and usually ironically). If I'm say around other friends then yes I'll swear casually for emphasis and just for no reason at all. If I'm bymself it usually only happens when something bad is happening or I'm under stress (but stress could be applied to anything really). So yes I guess you'd say I swear a fuck lot.
