Do You Feel Beautiful?

No. Having no self esteem and being anorexic sucks. Well, slight anorexic (-ia?). Hopefully I'll grow out of this.

I've been told I look cute, but I dont think so. I showed a picture of this guy I was talking to, to my cousin that knows I'm gay, and he laughed and said I could do so much better. I didnt think so. I dont shoot for "cute" guys because I dont think they would like me.

 

People tell me I look cute. I know they're just trying to be friendly. Honestly it doesn't work on me and only solidifies my belief that I'm ugly.

Some days I think I'm alright, outside and inside, but most of the time I hate myself.

 

Most of my life I have thought I was completely ugly but in the last two years or so, I have grown to think that I am pretty in my own unique way. I may be short, pudgy, and awkward, but I don't mind that as much now as I did in the past (working on the pudgy part though). The characteristics I do like about myself like the color of my eyes and hair and my personality (most of the time..sometimes it's not so good though. lol) balance out the characteristics that I don't care for as much. So all in all, I feel pretty pretty.

 

Oh boy please, you ARE cute! But other than the fact that you are actually cute, i totally agree with your above statement in terms of how I see myself also.

 

For the first time in pretty much forever today, I saw myself in the mirror (messy pigtails and Pacman T-shirt and all) and thought "I actually look kind of cute". So it's not beautiful, but it's a start.
