Probably my question should be "Do you ever zone in?"

I pay more attention to what's in my mind than what's around me. This is why I don't interact with people much, I don't give too much value to material things.

I have both ptsd zone outs and "where the f*** is my brain going" ones where it just goes on crazy tangents.

I zone out quite alot. It's mostly if I just want to swim around with my thoughts or am trying to ignore something...e.g. sermons in church...boring family speeches...etc. I tend to zone out the most in the morning because my brain is slower to wake up than my body so yeah, I look so out of it when I'm eating breakfast but thankfully, my family is used to it by now X)

I think I usually spend more time spacing out than anything else. It tends to bother people. I was crashing at my friend's place, and I would space in the middle of the room, so she and her folks would get annoyed. When I space out in the car, my mom always asks what I'm thinking about, which is kinda irksome.

When I space out too deeply, my face gets a dopey, surprised kinda expression. It's a little creepy when I realize it.

Come to think of it, I do zone out quite a bit. I don't like it when people give me a hard time for it.
