Dating...while trans

    I'd say give it a try. If you're not uncomfortable sharing that you're trans, you should bring it up with people who message you and see what their reactions are. There are plenty of people who date trans people :slight_smile:

    Well. I've got a couple dating profiles up- one of them, haven't checked in a couple days but was getting messages from a couple guys, lot of likes on profile. One catch is that I didn't disclose I was trans... I mean, should I? Or is that something I should wait until after I've got something going? Because this time, don't want to deal with chasers. Just really feels good being liked and admired as a guy and not because of my parts, you know?

    I did solely for the purpose of not having to deal with the awkward conversation later if I do get anything going. Whether or not you "should" or "shouldn't" is entirely up to you. Good luck!

    (And yeah, on the one profile I made, I have at least 20 people (mainly guys) look at my profile. It's nice to get hits, but the vast majority thus far have been guys just looking to get laid.)

    my advice is do what you feel is right. I tell some people I am trans right away while I tell others later

    Well imma be startin T soon, and after enough time i think i'll do shit like online datin' sites. Y'know once changes have really started settlin' in more and i feel more comfortable.

    i mean, i got a good base yeah, look male, but it's like....I need to be more aligned basically before I do anything.

    Yeah. That. It's all about what makes you comfortable but getting it out of the way kind of made sense to me.

    True. So ideally early on- I mean, I hate feeling like I'm falling into that old 'deceiver' trope. But I dunno. Thinking if I hit it off with someone, I'll bring it up if we ever decide on meeting in person and before we've actually gone out, I dunno.

    Yeah. No reliable transportation either, which is kinda a bitch. Public transport's okay. But only goes so far, you know?

    That's probably the smartest way to do it. As far as public transportation is concerned I can see how that would be an issue.

    Haha, both of ours are sweet and cuddle up to me a lot. But one randomly attacks the other one. One's fat, and the other is skinny, easy to see who's eating all the food. :wink:
