okay so i have four tattoo's in total. and they are in this order, my dog's name (delilah) with a paw print under it. - left wrist. a tattoo of my mom, date of birth and death. - right wrist. MY dad has no problem with those tattoo's but these he does. so i got a wolf on my right arm that symbolizes courage. and a lioness on my left arm that symbolizes patience. my dad doesn't know about my lioness tattoo. but he saw my courage wolf tattoo and said it looks stupid, and that im not courageous because i'm not in college anymore, and i'm only working part time, and im a bum basically. i'm working on getting a 2nd job actually but yeah. those are my two tattoo's. do you think he's right?
Ever since I got my ears double pierced in high school my mother has (lovingly) referred to me as "deformed". Parents just don't get these things sometimes!
Hey MerBear, they are your tattoos not your dad's so he doesn't need to understand the meanings behind them or like them. If they work for you as reminders or give you courage or whatever that's absolutely fine.
Don't listen to him. Your body, not his. If you like them, that's all that matters. But for the record, I think they are both really cool!
