Heh, my girlfriend is trans, a lot of these don't apply to us.

I love her sweetness, her affection. I describe us as "nauseatingly cute", it's very rare for us to be together and not touching somehow. That's probably my favourite thing about out relationship.

 

Back in my apartment, we always put the lid up because we were afraid of the things that might evolve in the water. *shivers*

 

You get to go through menopause together.

No, not a big deal to lower it at all. But let me put it this way.

When a guy goes into a dark bathroom, and for whatever reason is certain the toilet seat is up when it isn't, he pisses all over it. No harm...he either wipes it up...or more often, doesn't.

When a woman goes into a dark bathroom, and for whatever reason is certain the toilet seat is down when it isn't, she gets her arse wet in toilet-water, tyvm, sir.

Just humor us, huh?

Many items listed are equally valid for any same-sex relationship, rather than specific to women. Also, I frankly don't have much of an aesthetic for "cute", beyond furry animals.

With that in mind, let me second the following:

Soft sensual lovemaking
No pregnancy scares
Toilet seat is always down
Sharing clothes and jewelry
No stubble on face!!
The two-women-moaning thing!!


And then some observations of my own:

Andrew mentioned female drama...but what we tend to find is lack of drama, which always seems to need to be present (in them and/or us) when men are around.

No male ego / territory issues

Understanding each other's emotions generally. No asshole rolling his eyes and saying "women!" (talk about drama, lol)

Understands the effort that goes into looking good in general.

 

Yes! I love that~ it's a really comfortable feeling to have boobs pressing up against each other. I love it lol.

 

Boob hugs, the soft-pocalypse that is cuddles, the connection where you just get each other, sharing clothes, doing each others makeup, only having sex when both of you actually want to... seriously most of my ex-boyfriends from before I figured out I was a lesbian were getting horny and demanding sex CONSTANTLY.

The toys, the outfits, no nasty hairyness, gah it's so hard to list it all!

But yeah, being in a lesbian relationship is awesome! ^-^

They enjoy a lot with exchanging and sharing many things from Arms and Affection, Bed and Bathroom, Cuddle and Care, Dream and Diamond, Hug to Hangouts, kindness and Kisses, ......

Not sure if this is true, but among my group of friends, I find lesbian relationships are much deeper and less judgemental. One couple stayed together longer than all my gay friends' relationships... combined.

And yeah, as with any relationship, it makes them a lot more comfortable about themselves, it usually translates to playfulness with others, so that's always good.

 

I thought I was the only one who had noticed this. I've seen a lot of lesbians be together since their mid teens and those who get together later tend to cycle really quickly until they find the right fit then just stay together forever. Probably to do with the female brain's wiring or something. ^-^

 

Having one? Lol In my past experience, there's just something so great about being with a girl that likes you back just as much as you do.

 

Two feminine, beautiful people together can be quite aesthetically pleasing.
But that can go for any feminine person regardless of gender.


As I am a male who does not have experience with women, and have no lesbian friends as they tend to be quite hostile, the only thing I can say is something that applies to same sex couples, whether lesbian or gay. And that is, mutual understanding. Straight couples often complain on how they "don't understand" the opposite sex (failing to notice everyone is different). This does not happen in homosexual relationships because they are the same sex.

 

Yes, I find this is a big advantage to girl/girl relationships.

And hostile???? I thought that was a thing of the past. Lesbians can get the same platonic relationship with a gay man as a straight girl can, the straight girl may just wish it was more. lol

 

Forgive me for generalising, perhaps I have had bad experience.
