    Well being against equal marriage is a very conservative position, don't you think? In my personal opinion at least, encountering such a person will immediately make me think he has many other overly-conservative beliefs, not just this one.

    ^thats an assumption though, in reality, lots of people are all over the political spectrum with their ideas, some you might find favorable... Some not so much ie. Marriage equality. But I get what your saying. Just don't portray yourself as close-minded and assuming like the far right is.
