Since it sounds like you're under 18, I'm going to tell you I think it's a bad idea. Seriously. You are in Sydney, which might be different than here, but in the US, if you did anything like that, you'd stand a chance of getting brutally beaten up. I would definitely counsel you to wait until college.
ok well what i did when i came out to my mum as trans i wrote her a note telling her about it and trust me living in sydney souldnt be a problem i was born there but live in queensland now b ut still if you dont want to talk to her straight up wrote her a note its a great way to tell people
