    Well, after I got off of work yesterday, I drove an hour (at 9pm) to give her a kiss goodnight, like a straight-up crazy person.

    I'll be seeing her this coming weekend too. (!)

    SO glad it went well! Is she an out lesbian or is she new to all of this as well? I think it is totally normal for your husband to be having such a hard time with this. BUT with time he will hopefully get used to it and you can co-parent in a wonderful way.

    She's been out since her teen years and she's slightly older than I am now. But the funny thing is, I'm still playing the assertive role. Which is fine with me because I'm comfortable with it and I can tell she digs it. I thought it'd be different with a woman and I'd be super apprehensive. I'm surprised by how natural it all has felt.

    This has all gone down exceedingly well. Mellie, btw you look amazing in those pics and it's no wonder she was all about you!

    You describe my first "long date" almost exactly and my heart's beating all fast and stuff, remembering the Very First Kiss, the head in lap, playing with hair omg omg... it sounds so perfect. I'm so glad you keep us updated so we didn't die of suspense!!!

    Some kisses are worth 2 hours in the car. :thumbsup: :newcolor: :grin:
