Are there any cinephiles here with an opinion on Criterion's new channel? Is it worth the cash (and its a pretty huge investment for me)?

Well I got the free trial for a month. Well they are slowly adding content in.

That's one thing you need to realize.

I mean I haven't had the chance to look at it much but I know they had some David Lynch flicks in there and some Italian new wave stuff from 50s.

I was super excited and signed up as soon as I could. I hope they are able to turn this into something awesome in time, but right now it's very bare boned and erratic. They talked about having great filmmakers curating their favorite content, so far they've delivered Bill Hader. I imagine they decided to use him to appeal to a broader audience but I don't see that happening. I don't have anything against Mr. Hader it's just not what I was hoping for.
