Chick-fil-A: Still Anti-Gay?

The border patrol is a hate group for protecting our border under the directive of our constitution according to the SPLC, I dont think we can really take much stock in their over sensitive anti-American view of what hate is and what preservation of a country is.

 

The FRC is the one I was thinking of that supported anti-gay bills in Uganda, where homosexuals are jailed for it. They claimed they didn't want it to "come to killing", but I don't think people realize the extent to which white American conservative groups have influence in Africa.

 

Never heard of it.

I'd agree that the vigilante ones are...they're not talking about the official US Border Patrol.

In any event, I'm not going to support a business that has funded anti-gay hate laws in the US and abroad, and their zany notions that due to all the sinfulness going on (gay people and foreigners chief among them), that it's some symbol the world is going to end.

I've been a member of the SPLC for several years, and I greatly admire the work they do.

 

Agreed. I'm also a proud member of not only the SPLC, but also the ACLU.

I really despise Chick-Fil-A. Not because of its views, but it's obvious that when it had the public (or possibly still has) anti-LGBT views, it was just to stir up controversy and in turn get more business. It was just a business scheme in disguise in my opinion.

 

I like their chicken and eat their sometimes; but I am no fan of the corporate.

 

Well they are not open on Sundays, so I never go anyway. Chick-fil-A is strange in their ways. They should just stick to being a fast food restaurant, they shouldn't do anything else.

Wonder who runs the place, they obviously have other goals in mind.

 

Ok I hate to say it but it's almost a Mormon restaurant. They love to eat there. Not all of them eat there but most do. Not all Mormons hate gays but I've met a few that do and plus the food there imo is horrible! But that's just my opinion.

My boycott for Chick-Fil-A is still going. I'm not giving them a penny of my money until they stop funding anti-LGBT organizations.

 

If you dont go because the food sucks in your opinion, I have no way to argue that. I understand and totally support that. Actually I totally support your decision not to go there for your other reasons too.
but, as far as not all mormons hate gays but youve met a few that do,,, guess what, not all gays hate Bi's but I have met a few that do. Should I boycott everything that is gay because of the few? I dont think so, would not be fair to those that are not included in the hate group.

I only eat chicken if its a) cooked at home/restaurant or b)chicken nuggets at McDonalds. With ranch.

 

I'm eating there right now. They could openly deep fry kittens in every restaurant and I would still eat there. Anti gay stuff is certainly not gonna slow me down. It is delicious.
