Take it and post your score!

I got 44/50. I have to say that I don't remember some of these things :/ Had to think for a bit before answering some of the tougher ones as well, haha.

I also misread a couple of questions but then took guesses at most of the law questions because I live in Australia, how am I supposed to know American laws and rules.

45/50, also made a couple errors. This reaffirmed my confidence in being semi-conscious of the country I live in ... although, I have to admit most of this shit is stuff I never think about.

35/50. Though to be fair, there were three that I accidentally hit the wrong button, and one or two that I knew but it worded it differently than I was taught, and one that my teacher told me a different answer. *shrugs*

38 of 50. Not bad at all and I couldn't sing you the Star Spangled Banner. I just happened to leave my mother's body here. I got fascinated with world history and where I came from young. I'm sad that in my state basic world history and geography are an elected class and not a requirement.

I got 49/50 correct, with the only question I got wrong being the one about who wrote the Federalist Papers.

I think the question about what powers the states have is wrong because it has multiple correct answers. States have the right to provide schooling and education, but they also have the right to to create armies. In fact, every other state has some kind of military. Yet if you select the option “Create an army” option, it would count it as wrong.

For the question about what powers the federal government has, states can sort of make treaties with each other, but only with the approval of the federal government. It has happened in the past concerning water rights for the Colorado river before Hoover Dam was constructed. This question only asks what power the federal government has, not what power does only the federal government have, so it's not technically incorrect on that ground. However, the federal government can also provide police departments (although federal law enforcement tends to be a lot more specialized, such as FBI, secret service, and the DEA which shouldn't even exit), and it probably also has the power to provide schooling and to issue driver's licenses if it really wanted to (depending on how you interpret the US Constitution).

For a test that may determine whether or not someone becomes a US citizen, I'm very disappointed to find that people may be providing correct answers that are counted as incorrect.

Also, I'm disappointed to find the term American Indian as an answer option instead of Native American.
