    I think telling someone in person is best, if you can do it that way. But that's not easy, and for some people it can be a major problem. So for some people (including me) a letter or whatever is better. If you do use a letter, email, message or whatever though, try to speak too the person within a couple of days of them receiving it.

    I think it is more important that you do come our, rather than how you do it.

    either way, you're coming out to someone, and i agree- coming out is WAY more important than how you do it.
