lol, don't worry. I eat. I'm talking about midnight Taco Bell runs or pizzas or something. The extra things that'll pack on the pounds.
I have had a lot of weight loss this year. I am a Low Calorie Dieter. Some dispute if it works, but i have been on it for a while and I have lost about 30 lbs. I think it works because when you count calories, you are really just limiting food intake, and eating healthier so you dont run out of calories at 12 in the afternoon. Either way, it works magic for me.
swimming is the way to go. I have yet to pick it up again, but this summer I used the pool at the Holiday resort I went to every single day for a few weeks. At night during dinner I only ate healthy. I could literally feel the weightloss. It was kind of a bizarre experience actually. And besides, swimming is fun
The order in which you eat food can make a difference. If you eat carbs first, like bread or chips or rice, you don't feel full because those foods take longer to digest. It's best to eat the meat or protein portion of the meal first. Then eat the vegetables. Then carbs, last! Also, eating fruit with other food groups produces gas. So, it's best to eat fruit alone, probably as a snack. It's also better to drink water about 20 minutes before a meal, instead of with a meal. As for meat, red meat contributes most to heart disease. Lighter meats like poultry and fish are usually better. Personally I stay away from anything bread or dairy, but that's because they both cause me to break out; I also might have siliacs, or however one spells that. If you stop eating dairy or wheat altogether, just be sure to know what nutrients would be missing from your diet and make sure to get them through other foods. Oh, and fun facts: you are what you eat in certain situations! -Sweat potatoes resemble the pancreas, and help it function. -Cut a carrot, look at the resulting circle: it looks like an iris! Carrots help your eyes! -Celery and bok choy each resemble bones, and they each are 23% sodium, just like our bones are! They help bones function? -Figs resemble... well, they help the male gonads. -Tomatoes are red and have chambers... they help the heart! -Grapes apparently resemble blood cells, so they help the blood. Go figure. -Pears resemble the womb... guess they help that too. Eggplant too! There were others... sorry I don't remember exactly what they help do, but they're healthy, so there!:icon_bigg
Ta for this. I've been thinking of getting Wii Fit 'cos I put on a little bit of weight while I was unemployed and I don't want to leave the house to exercise what with it being winter. I wasn't sure whether to go for it but now I'll probably try and pick up a copy after the Christmas rush.
