Beginning to come out

Well you can go to the front office, steal the mic and scream "I LIKE GUYS" so everybody could know at once, rather than you have to walk around and talk people out

My brother gave me this perspective:

I came out to my mum. She went silent. She then said something like "whatever makes you happy." We watched American Idol together and I went off to do my own thing. My brother called me out of the blue. (I'd come out to him a couple of days before and after him thinking about it, he was ringing me with a plan on how to tell the folks.) I told him that I'd already told mum. He asked how she reacted and I said she was quiet. He said he was gonna drive over immediately. He told me that I couldn't drop a bomb like that and not talk about it. I told mum that my bro was on his way over. She said it wasn't necessary. In the end, I think it was helpful that he came, because we talked about it briefly together. (My mum is still in denial about it all, but a friend wisely told me to give her time.)

Anyway, I don't think it's wise to come out to your parents and just leave.

I was too lazy to tell everyone in school. i didnt want to answer "are you really" or "when did you know" or "whos the hottest guy in school"
so i found a friend who i knew was a big gossip and told him. the next day everyone knew. i was impressed it spread really fast!! but it worked out well.

 

i hope your not seriouse about NEVER telling you mother. its ok to feel like that now but some day weather its tommorow or in 20 years you will tell her. i think she has a right to know. but tell her when you feel comforatble with it.
