Congrats....and I think I've read everyone of them....

 

Nope, my son was the first. Although I have a lesbian cousin whom I used to spend quite a bit of time with in elementary school. In 5th grade we thought it would be fun to sleep in the closet together. We scared my mom pretty bad the next morning when she couldn't find us. It must of been dusty in there because we kept sneezing. Anyway, my cousin came out of the closet in more ways than one. :roflmao:

We had kind of a weird relationship. I was a very feminine little girl and she was a big tomboy. I'm not sure what drew us together except for the fact that we found out we were cousins after we formed a friendship. We had little fingers that are almost identical to eachother. We discovered this on the bus on the way home. When we told our parents about it, they told us we were cousins.

We graduated together from the same high school. We married and had our first born children pretty close together. We spent some time together then too. She eventually came out after her second son was born. She divorced her husband and has been with the same partner for many years now. I don't see her often but we ran into eachother at a Pride gathering in the park. She said "what are you doing here?" I told her I was President of PFLAG and that my son was gay. She sent me a nice e-mail after that and thanked me for what I was doing for "them and the community". She said her mom after many years with her partner had still not come to terms with it. :tears:

BTW, it's really nice to hear about you being so close to your friend.
Even when you were younger, you still were open-minded.​

 

Have you talked to her mum Becky? Thats a pretty funny story! She would have been freaked to see you there lol.

That's a great effort, ur pretty comited i wouldn't know any mom's who would spend as much time online as all of us. lol that was a compliment btw!
