I am an Ophiuchus, but I couldn't vote on it because the poll was based on the old fashioned system: there are now 13 signs and they are not equally spaced so the dates fall differently. All these years I thought I was Sagittarius.

The ancients divided the zodiac into 12 equal regions and associated each with the main constellation found there in but in actuality the sun moves through each constellation in an unequal period, staying in some much longer than in others and so in more recent times the International Astronomical Union redefined the boundaries of all constellations, officially recognizing 88 and divided the zodiac into 13 unequal constellations. This newer arrangement is far more accurate and true to the actual motion of the sun through each of the constellations. Now the zodiac includes a 13th constellation and lends a new sign, that of Ophiuchus, the serpent bearer. He represents a famous ancient physician Asclepius who was believed to have learned the secrets of life and death.
